Greatful Dead is a Japanese horror film directed by Eiji Uchida. The main character, Nami, is a socially awkward and emotionally unstable young woman who suffers from severe anxiety and depression due to a traumatic childhood.
After inheriting a small fortune from her deceased father, Nami begins to indulge in various perverse and sadistic interests, such as voyeurism, stalking, and necrophilia. She also hires a male prostitute named Katsuji to act out her disturbing fantasies.
As the story progresses, Nami's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent, and Katsuji begins to fear for his life. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman named Kamiya seems to be following Nami, and Nami starts receiving strange phone calls from a man who claims to be her father.
