The movie Gray Matter follows the life of Aurora, a young woman who possesses superhuman abilities that she has been taught to conceal and keep hidden. Her mother has always warned her of the dangers of using her powers, telling her that it could put her life in danger and lead to disastrous consequences.
One night, Aurora's worst fears come true. While at a party with her friends, she is attacked, and she is forced to use her powers to fend off her attackers. However, the use of her abilities attracts the attention of a clandestine agency that is tasked with hunting down superhumans and capturing them for experimentation.
Aurora must now go on the run, trying to stay ahead of the agency's agents who are hot on her trail. Along the way, she meets other superhumans who are also trying to evade capture, and they band together to fight back against the agency's sinister plans.
As Aurora and the other superhumans discover the true nature of the agency's intentions, they realize that they must use their powers to stop them from carrying out their dark agenda, even if it means risking their lives to do so.
