Grandma's Boy is a 2006 comedy film directed by Nicholaus Goossen and starring Allen Covert, Linda Cardellini, and Shirley Jones. The movie follows Alex, a 35-year-old video game tester who is known for playing video games all day long. He works at a video game design company, where he and his colleagues are creating a new game set to be released soon.
Unfortunately, Alex's boss steals their latest creation, Demonik, and it seems his job is in jeopardy. To make matters worse, he gets kicked out of his apartment and ends up moving in with his grandmother and her roommates. Despite his childish behavior and lack of responsibility, his grandmother and her friends take a liking to him and encourage him to pursue his dreams of developing a video game.
With the encouragement of his grandmother and her friends, Alex decides to pitch his own idea for a video game to his employer. He partners up with his friends who are also video game enthusiasts and together they come up with a new game concept that becomes a best-seller.
