Emily and Max are both high school students who are struggling financially. They come up with a plan to hot-wire cars and sell them for cash in order to make ends meet.
Their illegal activities attract the attention of their shop teacher, Mr. Elliot, who also happens to be a car enthusiast. Instead of turning them in, he decides to join in on their scheme.
As they continue their operation, they attract the attention of a notorious car thief named The Ghost. The Ghost puts a target on their backs and the trio must band together to outsmart him and stay out of trouble with the law.
As their operation gets more and more dangerous, Emily and Max start to question whether it's worth it. They begin to realize that the consequences of their actions could be dire and they must make some tough decisions about their future.
Will they be able to elude The Ghost and come out unscathed? Or will their actions catch up with them and jeopardize their future?
