Gothic Harvest is a supernatural horror film that takes place in 1800s New Orleans. The Boudine family is comprised of three sisters, two of whom are married, and their elderly mother. They have just arrived from France and are quickly introduced to the unique and sometimes dangerous culture of New Orleans.
The youngest daughter, Adele, catches the eye of a wealthy businessman named Charles, who is engaged to Marie Laveau, the Queen of Louisiana Voodoo. Despite their engagement, Charles and Adele begin a secret affair and eventually have a son together.
Desperate to keep their relationship hidden, Charles and Adele try to pass off their son as the child of one of the married sisters. But Madame Laveau discovers the truth and is enraged. Believing that the Boudine family has brought shame upon her and her voodoo religion, she decides to curse them with her most destructive spell.
As the curse takes hold, the family begins to experience terrifying and deadly supernatural occurrences. They turn to a local voodoo priestess for help, but she is unable to stop the curse from taking its toll. The Boudine family must find a way to break the curse before it destroys them all.
