Gotcha! is a 1985 comedy-thriller directed by Jeff Kanew and starring Anthony Edwards and Linda Fiorentino. The film follows Jonathan Moore (Edwards), a naive American college student who is on a trip to Paris with his best friend, Manolo (Jsu Garcia), to study art and have fun. One night, while playing a game of "Gotcha," a game where players shoot each other with paintball guns, Jonathan encounters a mysterious woman named Sasha Banicek (Fiorentino) who seduces him and steals his wallet.

After returning to the US, Jonathan discovers that his wallet is now filled with classified military documents. Unwittingly recruited as a spy, Jonathan is sent on a mission to East Germany to deliver the documents to a contact. However, things quickly go awry when it becomes clear that Sasha is not who she seems and that Jonathan's fellow Americans are not to be trusted.

Throughout his adventure, Jonathan must use his wits to survive encounters with KGB agents, Stasi officers, and even his own government. Along the way, he finds himself falling for Sasha, who may or may not be double-crossing him.

Gotcha! is a fun and suspenseful romp that blends elements of traditional spy thrillers with teenage romances. Its soundtrack mixes 80s pop hits with an orchestral score, further contributing to its playful tone. The film was a commercial success and helped to launch the career of Linda Fiorentino, who went on to star in films like The Last Seduction and Men in Black.
