G.O.R.A. is a 2004 Turkish science-fiction comedy film directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak. The film follows the story of Arif, a small-time smuggler who is accidentally transported to the planet G.O.R.A. while fleeing from the police. There he is captured by extraterrestrials and taken to the planet's evil commander-in-chief, Logar.

Logar is a tyrant who rules G.O.R.A with an iron hand, and uses the enslaved alien population to mine for the planet's precious source of energy, called G.O.R.A Mater. Arif quickly realizes that he needs to find a way to escape from Logar's clutches and get back to Earth.

Using his street smarts, Arif manages to escape from Logar's prison and joins forces with a group of rebels who are fighting against the commander-in-chief's regime. Arif's quick wit and resourcefulness prove to be valuable assets, and he soon becomes the rebels' most trusted ally.

Together, Arif and the rebels hatch a plan to sneak into Logar's palace and steal the G.O.R.A Mater, thereby undermining his power and freeing the enslaved aliens. The plan succeeds, and Arif returns to Earth as a hero.

G.O.R.A. is known for its witty dialogue, over-the-top humor, and satirical take on Turkish politics and society. It was a box office success in Turkey and has since gained a cult following both in Turkey and internationally.
