The movie Goon is a sports comedy film that was released in 2011. It was directed by Michael Dowse and written by Jay Baruchel and Evan Goldberg. The main character, Doug Glatt, is played by Seann William Scott.

Doug Glatt is a bouncer at a bar in Massachusetts who feels left out of his family's intellectual conversations. However, he discovers that he has a talent for fighting when he attends a minor league hockey game. After the game, he is approached by the coach who invites him to join the team as their enforcer, or "goon," whose job is to protect the other players on the ice.

Despite not having any experience in hockey, Glatt decides to give it a shot and soon becomes an integral part of the team. He forms a close bond with his teammates and becomes a hero to the fans. However, his success angers Ross Rhea, the league's reigning goon, who sees Glatt as a threat.

As the two teams face off, tensions rise and the final showdown between Glatt and Rhea becomes epic. Along the way, Glatt also falls in love with Eva, a hockey fan who supports him throughout his journey.
