Good Advice is a comedy-drama movie released in 2001. It stars Charlie Sheen as Ryan Turner, a successful investment banker who loses his job, his girlfriend and his savings all in one day. He is forced to move in with his womanizing neighbor, played by Barry Newman, and take up a job as a journalist for a women's magazine. Ryan's boss, played by Angie Harmon, assigns him to write an advice column for the magazine's readers, using his experiences and expertise in finance and business.

Initially reluctant, Ryan takes on the job and soon finds that he has a talent for giving advice that helps people with their personal and professional problems. As he delves deeper into the lives of his readers, he begins to reevaluate his own life choices and what is truly important to him. Along the way, he falls in love with a single mother, played by Denise Richards, who helps him discover the real meaning of love and family.
