In Gone Nutty, Scrat the prehistoric squirrel is obsessively collecting acorns when he accidentally falls into a crack in the ice. As he tries to climb out, the ice repeatedly breaks beneath him, sending him on a wild and hilarious ride. Along the way, he encounters various obstacles such as a snowman, a frozen mammoth, and a group of hungry fish.
Despite all the challenges, Scrat continues to pursue his precious acorns, and even manages to retrieve a particularly elusive one from the water. However, as he finally reaches the surface, he realizes that his acorn collection has been destroyed, leaving him with only one small nut.
Undeterred, Scrat begins to dig a new hole to store his last acorn, but accidentally triggers a geothermal vent, causing a volcanic eruption. He narrowly escapes as the eruption destroys the entire area, leaving Scrat alone in a vast, empty landscape.
The film ends with Scrat sitting on a rock, holding his one remaining acorn as he looks out at the barren wasteland. Suddenly, he sees a small sapling sprouting from the ground, offering him a glimmer of hope and a chance to start rebuilding his acorn collection once more.
