Goldfinger is the third film in the James Bond franchise and was released in 1964. The film stars Sean Connery as James Bond, Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore, and Gert Frรถbe as Auric Goldfinger.
The film opens with James Bond tracking down Goldfinger, a wealthy businessman who is suspected of cheating at cards. Bond follows Goldfinger to Switzerland, where he witnesses the tycoon's plan to smuggle gold by painting a woman's body in gold paint.
Back in England, Bond is assigned to investigate Goldfinger's connections to a massive gold heist at Fort Knox. Bond enlists the help of Pussy Galore, a pilot who works for Goldfinger. Together, they uncover Goldfinger's plan to irradiate the gold at Fort Knox, making it unusable for decades and raising the value of his own gold reserves.
As Bond tries to stop the plan, he is captured by Goldfinger and subjected to a dangerous laser beam, which nearly kills him. Bond manages to escape and teams up with the CIA to launch an attack on Goldfinger's fortress.
The film ends with Bond and Pussy Galore preventing Goldfinger's plan and foiling his evil scheme. The final scene sees Bond encountering Goldfinger on a plane, where he quips the memorable line "Do you expect me to talk?" to which Goldfinger responds, "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."
