Throughout the investigation, Gogol and Khoma Brut uncover a web of dark magic, deceit, and betrayal that leads them to suspect that the true mastermind behind the murders is someone they never would have suspected. As they delve deeper into the supernatural world surrounding the village of Dikanka, they must confront their own fears and inner demons in order to defeat the Dark Horseman and protect their loved ones.
As they face off against the malevolent spirit Viy in the old chapel, Gogol and Khoma Brut must use all of their knowledge, strength, and courage to banish the evil that threatens to consume them and the entire village. Will they be able to defeat the Dark Horseman and save Liza from a gruesome fate, or will they succumb to the darkness that lurks within the shadows of Dikanka?
