In Godzilla vs. Megalon, after the Seatopians take control of Jet Jaguar, they use him to guide their monster, Megalon, to attack Earth as revenge for the nuclear tests that have affected their underwater society. The destruction caused by the attacks prompts a scientist named Dr. Goro Ibuki to launch a plan to retrieve Jet Jaguar and use him to summon Godzilla for assistance.
As Dr. Ibuki and his friend Hiroshi search for Jet Jaguar, the Seatopians release giant insects called Meganulon to keep them at bay. After a tense search, they manage to regain control of Jet Jaguar and program him to bring Godzilla to fight Megalon.
During the climactic battle, Megalon proves to be a formidable opponent, fighting fiercely with his drills and powerful kicks. However, with the help of Jet Jaguar's ability to increase his own size and strength, Godzilla is able to defeat Megalon. The movie ends with Jet Jaguar returning to his original smaller size and Godzilla returning to the sea.
