After the defeat of Godzilla and other giant monsters, the remaining human population boards a ship called Aratrum to embark on a twenty-year journey to Tau Ceti-e, a potentially habitable planet. However, upon arrival, they discover that the planet's ecosystem is not suitable for human life and is inhabited by a race of giant monsters called the "Servum."
As living conditions on the ship deteriorate due to dwindling resources and constant attacks from the Servum, Haruo leads a group of rebels in advocating for a return to Earth. They believe that since Godzilla is the key to the planet's current ecological balance, defeating him will allow humans to reclaim their home.
Despite the objections of the ship's leadership, Haruo and his followers manage to hijack a landing craft and make a perilous descent onto Earth. However, upon arrival, they discover that thousands of years have passed since they left and the planet has evolved to become centered around Godzilla, who is now over 300 meters tall and has ruled over the planet for millennia.
With the help of a group of humans who have adapted to life on Earth, including a woman named Yuko who has formed a bond with Godzilla, Haruo and his comrades launch a plan to defeat the giant monster and reclaim their home. But as they engage in a final battle, the true nature of the planet's ecosystem and their place in it is revealed, leading to a shocking twist that leaves the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.
