In Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, the remnants of humanity are still struggling to reclaim the Earth from Godzilla and his seemingly endless supply of monstrous allies. As they continue their fight, they encounter a mysterious tribe known as the Houtua, who have a connection to Mechagodzilla, a long-lost weapon that may be their key to victory.
As the humans and Houtua work to unlock the secrets of Mechagodzilla, they also face new challenges in the form of Godzilla's latest allies, including a fearsome creature known as the Servum. The stakes are higher than ever as they race against time to find a way to defeat Godzilla and reclaim their planet once and for all.
The film features a combination of traditional animation and cutting-edge CG animation, bringing the world of Godzilla to life in a new and exciting way. It also boasts a talented voice cast, including Mamoru Miyano, Takahiro Sakurai, and Kana Hanazawa, among others.
Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle is the second installment in a trilogy of animated Godzilla films, which began with 2017's Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and will conclude with Godzilla: The Planet Eater.
