The robotic Godzilla, also known as MechaGodzilla, is piloted by a team of skilled pilots from the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. Their mission is to stop the new Godzilla, which is wreaking havoc on Tokyo and causing massive destruction.
As they battle the new Godzilla, tensions rise within the team as some members fear that the robot may turn against them and become another destructive force. They also discover that the bones used to build MechaGodzilla may hold a dark secret about the original Godzilla's true nature.
Meanwhile, a young scientist named Akane Yashiro must come to terms with her own past mistakes and prove herself worthy of piloting MechaGodzilla in battle.
The film builds towards a epic showdown between the two monsters, as the fate of Tokyo and the world hangs in the balance.
