Girls vs Gangsters is a Chinese comedy film directed by Barbara Wong Chun-Chun. The movie revolves around three best friends and bridesmaids – Lin Lili (Ivy Chen), Xiaomei (Fiona Sit), and Xin Yi (Ning Chang) – who are sent to a bachelorette party in Thailand by their friend Wei Wei’s fiance. The trio go out for drinks and party, but things take a wild turn as they do shots with a group of rowdy locals.
The next morning, they wake up on a beach, completely naked except for some mysterious new tattoos on their bodies. They also find out that Xiaomei and Xin Yi are handcuffed to a suitcase, while Wei Wei is nowhere to be found. The girls have no memory of what happened the night before, and soon realize that they are in trouble as they are being pursued by a group of gangsters.
As they try to piece together what happened the previous night, they uncover a series of hilarious and wild events, from stealing a yacht to getting into a fight with a drag queen. With the help of a handsome stranger they meet along the way, the girls set out on a mission to not only find Wei Wei but also clear their names and make it back in time for the wedding.
