Don Koch (played by CM Punk) is a former lawyer who decides to renovate an old house in the suburbs of Chicago. The house has a sordid history, with rumors of violence and murder surrounding it. Despite warnings from the neighbors, Don goes ahead with his plans to turn the run-down mansion into a dream home for his wife, Liz (played by Trieste Kelly Dunn), and their unborn child.
As Don starts to work on the house, strange things begin to happen. He hears strange noises, and the walls seem to be shifting. The more he investigates, the more he realizes that the house has a dark past that is still haunting it. Don starts to experience terrifying visions, and he begins to question his sanity. Meanwhile, Liz begins to have doubts about their new home and the safety of their family.
As Don continues the renovation, he discovers a secret room in the basement of the house that contains a mysterious and dangerous entity that threatens the safety of the family. Don must confront this evil force and protect his family before it's too late.
