In Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go to College, a college teacher named Professor Ragnar (played by Kevin McCarthy) discovers a group of mischievous little creatures known as Ghoulies while on an archaeological dig. Intrigued by their supernatural powers, he decides to bring them back to his campus as part of an exhibit for his students.
However, as soon as the Ghoulies arrive on campus, they begin to cause chaos and terrorize the faculty and students. Initially, they are mischievous and playful, but their behavior quickly turns violent and dangerous.
One of the main characters in the movie is a student named Erin (played by Eva LaRue), who becomes the target of the Ghoulies' wrath after accidentally summoning them during a sorority initiation ceremony. Along with her boyfriend, she sets out to stop the creatures from wreaking more havoc on the campus.
As the Ghoulies continue to wreak havoc, Professor Ragnar becomes obsessed with their power and begins to experiment on them, leading to a dangerous confrontation between him and the students.
