Ghosts Can't Do It is a 1989 romantic fantasy film directed by John Derek. The film stars Anthony Quinn as Scott, a wealthy elderly businessman who is struck down by a heart attack that leaves him immobilized and unable to enjoy sex with his young wife Kate, played by Bo Derek.

Desperate to be with him again, Scott decides to kill himself and return as a ghost. He then convinces Kate to help him find a young, healthy man whose body Scott can possess in order to be with Kate again.

Kate is hesitant, but ultimately agrees to help Scott. They begin searching for a suitable young man, and eventually find a handsome and boisterous young man named Fausto, played by Don Murray Jr.

After seducing Fausto, Kate lures him to a remote location where Scott possesses his body. However, once Scott is in Fausto's body, he begins to experience strange urges and impulses that drive him to behave erratically.

As Scott struggles to come to terms with his new body, Kate realizes the gravity of what they have done and begins to question whether it was worth it. The film ends on a tragic note, with Scott ultimately realizing that he can never truly be with Kate again, even in a new body.

Ghosts Can't Do It was widely panned by critics upon its release, and was widely regarded as one of John Derek's worst films. Despite this, it has developed a cult following over the years and is often cited as an unintentional comedy.
