The drifter, named John, arrives in the town of Silver Creek and quickly befriends the locals, including the sheriff and the town doctor. However, mysterious deaths start to occur in the town, and some of the victims seem to have supernatural markings on their bodies.
As the deaths continue, John starts to investigate and discovers that the town is plagued by a group of vengeful ghosts seeking revenge for a past injustice. With the help of the town doctor, who is revealed to be a powerful medium, John attempts to thwart the malevolent spirits and uncover the truth behind their wrath.
As the townsfolk become increasingly suspicious of John's involvement in the strange occurrences, he is forced to confront his past and reveal the true reason why he is in Silver Creek. In a climactic showdown between the living and the dead, John and the doctor lead a desperate fight for survival against the vengeful spirits.
