The movie Ghost Ship stars Gabriel Byrne, Julianna Margulies, and Ron Eldard. The film begins with a group of salvagers led by Captain Sean Murphy (Byrne) attempting to tow a drifting vessel back to shore. After boarding the ship, they discover that it is the Antonia Graza, a luxury Italian ocean liner that has been missing since 1962. The salvagers claim the ship as their own and plan to sell it for a large profit.
As they begin to tow the ship, strange occurrences happen onboard, including hallucinations and ghostly sightings. The group soon realizes that they are not alone on the ship and that it is inhabited by a demonic entity that is seeking revenge for the tragic events that occurred on the Antonia Graza years earlier. The entity and its ghostly crew attack the salvagers one by one, trapping them inside the ship.
As the survivors attempt to escape, they uncover the sinister truth about what happened on the Antonia Graza all those years ago and realize that they may never make it off the ship alive.
