In the movie Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Johnny Blaze (played by Nicolas Cage) has been hiding out in Eastern Europe, trying to suppress his curse as the Ghost Rider. However, he is called upon by a secret religious sect called the Monks, who need his help to save a young boy named Danny (played by Fergus Riordan) from a cult leader named Roarke (played by Ciarán Hinds).
Roarke, who is actually the devil himself, wants to possess Danny because he is the son of a powerful priest named Moreau (played by Idris Elba), who has the ability to rid people of their demonic possession. Moreau and his followers have been keeping Danny safe for years, but when they are attacked by Roarke's minions, they are forced to seek out Johnny for help.
Reluctant at first, Johnny eventually agrees to help the Monks and becomes the Ghost Rider again. With his new fiery powers, he sets out to protect Danny and defeat Roarke once and for all. Along the way, he struggles with his own inner demons and the possibility that he may never be able to escape the curse of the Ghost Rider.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is a fast-paced, action-packed movie filled with thrilling motorcycle chases and spectacular special effects. It is directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, and is a sequel to the 2007 movie Ghost Rider.
