The movie Ghost Box follows the story of Elizabeth, a highly independent and successful businesswoman, who is suddenly faced with the loss of her mother. Elizabeth is devastated by the loss and finds it difficult to cope with the thought of never being able to see or speak to her mother again.
In an attempt to communicate with her mother one last time, Elizabeth purchases a ghost box – a device that is said to allow communication with the dead. As she uses the ghost box to try and contact her mother's spirit, Elizabeth begins to experience strange and unsettling occurrences.
At first, the communication seems harmless and Elizabeth is overjoyed to be able to speak to her mother once more. However, as time goes on, the messages become increasingly malevolent and Elizabeth begins to fear for her safety.
As Elizabeth struggles to come to terms with what is happening, she is forced to confront the possibility that the ghost box may not actually be connecting her with her mother, but rather something much darker and more sinister.
With each passing day, Elizabeth becomes more and more entrenched in the paranormal world, desperate to uncover the truth behind the ghost box and the entity that seems to be communicating with her. But as she gets closer to the truth, Elizabeth realizes that she may have opened a door that she cannot close and that the consequences of her actions may be far more terrifying than she ever could have imagined.
