Gangs of Lagos follows the lives of four childhood friends - Ademola, Tunde, Adebayo, and Chika - as they navigate the challenges and temptations of growing up in one of the most notorious neighborhoods of Lagos. Each of them has their own dreams and ambitions, but their paths are constantly obstructed by the violent and corrupt world they inhabit.
Ademola, the leader of the group, is a talented musician with dreams of becoming a famous musician. However, he struggles to stay out of trouble and often finds himself dabbling in illegal activities to make ends meet. Tunde, on the other hand, is a brilliant student with a passion for technology, but his obsession with money and status leads him down a dangerous path.
Adebayo, the most street-smart of the group, is a petty criminal with aspirations of becoming a powerful gang leader. His ambition often puts him at odds with Ademola and the rest of the group, as they struggle to keep him out of trouble. Finally, there's Chika, the only female member of the group. She is a talented dancer with a passion for fashion, but the patriarchal nature of the neighborhood often holds her back from pursuing her dreams.
As they navigate their way through the challenges of growing up in Isale Eko, the four friends are forced to make tough decisions and face the consequences of their actions. Along the way, they come face to face with ruthless gangsters, corrupt policemen, and the harsh realities of life in Lagos.
