Shadow of Revenge: Castle of Death

Drama,Action  Hong Kong

Game of Death II, also known as Tower of Death, is a Hong Kong action film released in 1981. It was directed by Ng See-yuen and starred Bruce Lee's protégé, Tong Lung, as Billy Lo and Tai Chung Kim as his younger brother, Bobby Lo.

The movie is a sequel to Game of Death, the film incomplete at the time of Bruce Lee's death. The unfinished footage of Bruce Lee was utilized in Game of Death II, with Billy Lo played by a double in certain scenes.

The plot follows the death of Chin Ku, a renowned martial artist and friend of Billy Lo. Suspecting foul play, Bobby Lo investigates the death and ends up at the Castle of Death, where he meets and befriends the tower master, Lord Chamberlain (played by Bolo Yeung).

As Bobby digs deeper, he discovers a sinister conspiracy that involves a secret serum, double-crossing friends, and powerful enemies. Along the way, he encounters several formidable opponents, including a woman with a prosthetic arm and a group of martial arts experts who seem to be under a hypnotic spell.

In the finale, Bobby faces off against a mysterious and deadly opponent, who is revealed to be Chin Ku himself, resurrected using the secret serum. The epic fight scene reaches its climax on a rooftop, with Bobby ultimately emerging victorious.

Despite featuring extensive footage of Bruce Lee, Game of Death II was panned by critics and fans alike for its convoluted plot and lackluster action sequences. However, it remains a cult classic for fans of martial arts cinema and Bruce Lee enthusiasts.
