Action,Adventure,Science Fiction,Thriller  United States of America

Futureworld is a science-fiction thriller movie released in 1976, directed by Richard T. Heffron and starring Peter Fonda, Blythe Danner, and Arthur Hill. The movie is a sequel to the hit film Westworld, which was released in 1973. It is set two years after the events of Westworld, where the robotic "hosts" revolted against the humans and caused chaos and death.

In Futureworld, Delos, the company that owns Westworld, has revamped and re-opened the park after extensive safety and other improvements. The company aims to reassure the public and investors that the safety issues of the past have been addressed. To promote the reopening, Delos invites two reporters, Chuck Browning (played by Peter Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (played by Blythe Danner), to review the new park and report on their experience.

Just before arriving at the park, Browning is approached by a dying man who gives him a cryptic message that "they know," and that all is not as it seems at the newly reopened Westworld. Once at the park, Browning and Ballard are given special access to the newest attraction in the park, Futureworld, which promises to offer guests the opportunity to experience life in the future.

As Browning and Ballard begin to explore the park, they realize that something is indeed amiss. They uncover a sinister plot by the Delos corporation to replace world leaders and various influential people with robotic replicas, created by mass-producing androids that are indistinguishable from humans. Browning and Ballard must race to expose the conspiracy and prevent the takeover before it is too late.

In conclusion, Futureworld is a thrilling follow-up to Westworld, with a fast-paced plot and a strong cast that explores the darker side of technology and its potential for abuse.
