The movie From Vegas to Macau is a 2014 action-comedy movie directed by Wong Jing. The movie stars Chow Yun-fat as Ken, the legendary “Invincible Hand” who is now retired as the Chief Security Consultant in Las Vegas. He returns to Macau, his hometown, where he meets his old friend Benz (Andy Lau). Benz introduces his son Cool (Nicholas Tse) and nephew Karl (Chapman To) to Ken. Both Cool and Karl want to follow in Ken's footsteps and learn the art of gambling from him. Ken challenges Cool to either cheat him once or win over him, and he would then accept Cool as his protégé.
Meanwhile, Cool's stepbrother Lionel (Shawn Yue) is an undercover agent who has infiltrated an international gambling mafia. The mafia has planned to form an alliance with mafias in illegal gambling from all over the world to control the result of soccer matches. Lionel had recorded the entire conference and kept the criminal evidence in an imitated eye. The eye was given to Rainbow (Kimmy Tong), Ken's only daughter, by mistake, which put her in danger.
Ken puts his retirement aside and uses his “Magic Hand” once again to uncover the evil plan. With help from Benz, Cool, and Karl, he devises a plan to retrieve the imitated eye and stop the gambling mafia from controlling the soccer matches. The movie is filled with action-packed scenes, comedic moments, and twists and turns that keep the audience engaged.
