From Justin to Kelly is a romantic comedy musical film that was released in 2003. The movie centers around two main characters, Kelly (played by Kelly Clarkson) and Justin (played by Justin Guarini), who meet at a summer beach party and fall in love.
Kelly is a singing waitress who is struggling to make it as a musician. She is also dealing with trust issues following a recent breakup with her cheating ex-boyfriend. Justin, on the other hand, is a college student who is spending the summer working as a lifeguard at the beach.
Despite a rocky start, Kelly and Justin hit it off and spend the next few days together, singing and dancing their way through various romantic encounters. However, their summer fling is threatened by Justin's jealous friend, Alexa (played by Katherine Bailess), who is determined to keep them apart.
In the end, Kelly and Justin overcome the obstacles in their way and realize that they are meant to be together. The movie ends with a final musical number, where they sing and dance on the beach, surrounded by their friends and newfound love.
From Justin to Kelly received negative reviews from critics and was a box office flop. However, it has since gained a cult following and is considered a guilty pleasure by many fans of cheesy romantic comedies.
