From Friend to Fiancé tells the story of Jess, a down-to-earth wedding planner who has been best friends with Ted since childhood. Ted is engaged to a woman named Sloan, who is known for being the mean girl from their high school days. Despite her reservations about the engagement, Jess agrees to plan their wedding, hoping to make Ted happy.
As she works closely with Ted and Sloan, Jess begins to realize her feelings for Ted go beyond friendship. She tries to push these feelings aside, but they keep surfacing as she spends more time with him. Meanwhile, Sloan's true colors start to show as she becomes more demanding and difficult to work with.
As the wedding approaches, Jess must decide whether to confess her feelings to Ted or continue to hide them and support him on his big day. Along the way, she discovers that true love might have been right in front of her all along.
The movie stars Jocelyn Hudon as Jess, Ryan Paevey as Ted, and Kelly Kruger as Sloan. It was directed by Andrew Cymek and premiered on the Hallmark Channel in May 2019.
