In "From Darkness," Park ranger Angelica finds herself in a desperate situation as she enlists the help of her ex-boyfriend, Viktor, who is a skilled dog handler. Their mission is to locate a missing woman within a dangerous nature reserve located in Sweden. However, their search becomes increasingly complicated by a chilling legend surrounding the Cave Banshee, a malevolent spirit from Nordic folklore that was said to have lured miners to their demise in the reserve's treacherous caves.
As Angelica and Viktor venture deeper into the forest, they begin to question their own sanity, as strange occurrences and eerie encounters start to plague their journey. Viktor, in particular, finds himself grappling with his troubled past and the haunting memories associated with the very place they are exploring.
