From Beyond the Grave is a British horror anthology film from 1974, directed by Kevin Connor and produced by Amicus Productions. The movie starts with a customer entering Temptations Limited, an antique shop run by an enigmatic Proprietor. The customer, Edward Charlton (played by David Warner), is looking for a gift for his wife. He finds a strange mirror that seems to have a life of its own and buys it.

In the first story, Charlton's wife, Anne (played by Angela Pleasence), becomes obsessed with the mirror and the ghostly reflection she sees in it. She starts to change, becoming more aggressive and cruel towards her husband. As it turns out, the mirror is cursed and demands a blood sacrifice.

In the second story, a young couple, Rosemary (played by Diana Dors) and her husband, Albert (played by Ian Bannen), move into a new house and find an old door that leads to a sealed room. Inside, they find an old wardrobe and a strange mask. When they wear the mask, they fall under its influence and become monsters, attacking and killing their neighbors.

In the third story, a man, Reggie Warren (played by Ian Carmichael), cheats the antique shop and steals a snuff box. He soon becomes haunted by a vengeful ghost, the former owner of the box, who torments him until he returns the stolen item.

In the final story, a man, William Seaton (played by Peter McEnery), hires a medium to help him contact his deceased wife. Instead, they communicate with a malevolent entity that possesses Seaton's body and uses it to wreak havoc.

The four stories are connected by the mysterious Proprietor and the antique shop. In the end, the Proprietor reveals himself to be a demon, who feeds on the souls of those who fall prey to his shop's temptations. The movie ends with the demon claiming another victim and promising more terror to come.
