Friday Foster is a 1975 blaxploitation film directed by Arthur Marks. The film stars Pam Grier as Friday Foster, a fashion model turned photographer who finds herself in the midst of a complex conspiracy involving the assassination of a wealthy black businessman, Blake Tarr (Thalmus Rasulala).

Friday attends a press conference where Tarr is scheduled to arrive at LAX airport and takes pictures of him as he exits the plane. However, Tarr is immediately ambushed by three gunmen who attempt to kill him. The trail leads her to a mysterious organization known as the "Black Widow," which has nefarious plans for the future of African American political power. Along the way, Friday must evade the assassins who are after her and navigate a dangerous web of deceit and treachery.
