In the movie Friday, Craig (played by Ice Cube) is a 22-year-old man who has just been fired from his job at a local store. He spends his day hanging out on the porch with his friend Smokey (played by Chris Tucker), who is a drug dealer and always looking for ways to make some quick cash.
As they sit on the porch smoking and drinking, they decide that they need to find something to do to pass the time. Smokey suggests that they go and sell some weed, but Craig is hesitant. He knows that selling drugs is risky business and doesn't want to get caught.
Eventually, they decide to go for a walk around the neighborhood and see what kind of trouble they can get into. Along the way, they encounter a variety of colorful characters, including a neighborhood bully, a group of kids trying to steal a bike, and a father who is trying to teach his son how to fight.
As the day goes on, Craig and Smokey find themselves in increasingly perilous situations, and it becomes clear that they may have made a mistake by deciding to venture out into the world. Ultimately, however, they come to realize the value of their friendship and the importance of looking out for one another, no matter what dangers they may face.
