Robert Saunters, played by Dylan McDermott, is celebrating his birthday at a restaurant when he is suddenly and violently attacked and knocked unconscious. When he wakes up, he finds himself inside the restaurant's industrial freezer, locked in and unable to escape.
Initially confused and disorientated, Robert soon realizes that he is being held captive by a group of Russian gangsters who believe he is someone else. They demand a large sum of money from him, but Robert insists that they have the wrong man.
As time passes, Robert begins to use his skills as a mechanic to try and escape from the freezer, using tools and parts he finds inside to try and break through the door. Meanwhile, the gangsters outside become increasingly frustrated with his refusal to cooperate.
As Robert continues to fight for his survival, flashbacks reveal that he has a troubled past and a history of run-ins with the law. This causes the audience to wonder if Robert is truly innocent or if he has done something to deserve being targeted by the gangsters.
Freezer, directed by Mikael Salomon, is a tense and suspenseful thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats as they follow Robert's struggle for survival and his attempts to uncover the truth behind his abduction.
