Dr. Freddy Ginwala is a brilliant dentist who spends most of his time in solitude, either working or indulging in his hobbies which includes knick-knack collecting. However, what he craves the most in life is a connection with someone special.
His desperate search brings him to a local bar where he meets a beautiful woman named Melissa. Though he is extremely nervous and socially awkward, Freddy manages to strike up a conversation with her. Despite her initial hesitation, Melissa is soon won over by Freddy's charm and intelligence.
As the two start dating, Freddy finds himself feeling happier and more fulfilled than ever before. However, their relationship soon starts to take a turn for the worse. Melissa becomes increasingly demanding and controlling, often belittling Freddy and criticizing his quirks and habits.
