The protagonist, named Oliver, is a reserved and introverted student from England who gets shocked when his mother announces her engagement with an American man named Rick. As if that weren't enough, Rick happens to have two wild and adventurous sons named Jason and Zach, who are determined to make Oliver their new brother and show him a good time.

Reluctantly, Oliver agrees to join the brothers on a road trip across America to attend a massive frat party in New Orleans.
