Frankie is a 30-something year old living in New York City who has had a string of unsuccessful relationships. Frustrated with the dating scene, she decides to adopt a furry friend and become a dog mom. She finds the perfect companion in Tucker, a smart and playful pup who quickly becomes her constant companion.
One day, while out on a walk with Tucker, Frankie crosses paths with Jack, a handsome and charming man who has a dog of his own, Dakota. Initially, Frankie tries to keep her distance from Jack, determined to stick to her plan of focusing on her new role as a dog mom.
However, as fate would have it, Frankie and Jack keep running into each other in the park, at the doggy daycare center, and even at the vet's office. They strike up a friendship, bonding over their love of dogs, and soon find that they have much more in common than they originally thought.
