The movie Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell is a horror film that was released in 1974. It was the last film in Hammer Film's Frankenstein series, starring Peter Cushing as Baron Frankenstein and David Prowse as the Monster.
The film begins with Dr Simon Helder (Shane Briant) being sent to an insane asylum for a failed attempt at surgery. He quickly recognises the asylum's director, Baron Frankenstein (Peter Cushing), who has been using the asylum as a cover for his experiments.
Frankenstein reveals that he has been working on creating a new creature, using parts from different inmates. He persuades Helder to join him in his work, and together they continue to harvest organs.
However, as they acquire more challenging specimens, they are forced to resort to murder to obtain the desired organs. They eventually succeed in creating a new monster (David Prowse), who is even more terrifying and violent than their previous creations.
Despite Frankenstein's attempts to control the Monster, it escapes from his laboratory and goes on a killing spree. In the end, Frankenstein is killed by the asylum's inmates, while the Monster is locked away in a secret room.
