In Frankenstein 1970, the baron's grandson, Victor von Frankenstein, is desperate to restore the family's name and fortune. After inheriting the castle, he decides to rent it out to a film crew, who plan to use it as a setting for their horror movie. However, Victor secretly has plans of his own. He is determined to resurrect his family monster using atomic energy, despite the objections of his servant Ygor.

Victor attempts to convince the film crew to feature his monster in their movie, hoping to use the publicity to garner support for his experiments. However, his plans are complicated by the arrival of his distant relatives, who are shocked and appalled by his actions.

As Victor's experiments progress, the monster begins to take shape. However, it quickly becomes clear that the creature is uncontrollable and dangerous. Victor realizes that he has made a grave mistake, but it may be too late to save himself and those around him.

With suspense, humor, and a touch of camp, Frankenstein 1970 is a unique and entertaining take on the classic monster story. It features Boris Karloff in his final film role, as well as other familiar faces from horror cinema.
