The story revolves around the mysterious killing of a man in Louisiana’s swamps, where Sam Rivers, a medical investigator, is assigned to investigate the murder case. He teams up with Dr. Mary Callahan, a biologist, to unravel the mystery behind the brutal murder.

Upon reaching the murder location, the duo learned that the killer may not be human but a genetically engineered fish species. Meanwhile, the locals are also being attacked by the fish creatures. It is revealed that the fish species were created by a rich hunter, Jeff, who uses them for sport hunting.

The group sets out to find and stop these creatures, teaming up with the victim’s family and friends. Together, they discover the creatures are massive snakeheads that can travel on land, breathing air, and devouring anything in their way.
