The four cousins, Alex, Bianca, Carla, and Dylan, grew up spending every holiday with their grandparents. However, they have not seen their grandfather, whom they call Gramps, in years due to family tension. When they receive the news of their grandmother’s passing, they are heartbroken.
As they prepare to spend Christmas together, they receive a summons from Gramps to return home for the memorial service. Reluctantly, they agree to go, but tensions rise as they confront old family issues and Gramps' stern demeanor.
Despite their initial reluctance, the cousins begin to bond with their grandfather as they reminisce about their grandmother and rediscover the traditions that they once shared as a family. They also learn the real reason behind the family tension and work to mend those relationships.
Throughout the film, there are heartwarming moments as the cousins come to terms with their loss and grow closer together as a family. The movie ends with a heartwarming Christmas celebration that leaves the cousins and their grandfather with renewed hope for the future.
