Fabio Berker has always struggled to make ends meet as a hypnotist in New York City. He's tried to go legitimate, but with his degree being fake, he's constantly being turned away from reputable jobs. Desperate for cash, Fabio agrees to help out a woman who promises to pay him a large sum of money for a routine hypnotism session. However, the woman turns out to be working for a criminal syndicate that wants to use Fabio's skills as a hypnotist to carry out assassinations.
Terrified by the danger he's being dragged into, Fabio tries to back out, but the woman has evidence of his fraudulent degree and threatens to expose him if he doesn't go along with their plans. As he reluctantly begins to carry out assigned hits, Fabio finds himself increasingly drawn to the woman who blackmailed him. He discovers that she's a criminal psychologist who's been studying him for years, hoping to use his unique skills to aid in her research.
As Fabio continues to perform his deadly hypnotism sessions, he becomes more and more determined to find a way out of the criminal world he's been forced into. But with both the police and the criminal syndicate on his tail, Fabio must use all of his cunning and hypnotic abilities to stay alive and save the woman he's come to care for. Ultimately, he must decide whether to continue using his powers to kill or risk his own life to bring down the syndicate and the woman who has controlled him for so long.
