Forever 16 follows Raven Highgate, a sixteen-year-old vampire who's constantly on the move, attending a new high school every year to avoid being discovered. She's been doing it for years, but this year feels different. Raven is living with her aunt and uncle in a small town, and it's the first time she's felt a sense of belonging in a long time.
However, things take a turn when the local cop, Jameson, reveals that he knows Raven's secret. Rather than exposing her, he offers to introduce her to others of her kind in exchange for her help in catching a murderer who's on the loose in the school.
