Force 10 from Navarone is a 1978 war film directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Harrison Ford, Robert Shaw, and Edward Fox. It is a sequel to the 1961 film The Guns of Navarone.
The story follows Mallory and Miller, two of the survivors of the mission to destroy the guns of Navarone during World War II. They are actually on a mission to parachute into the area and rendezvous with a Yugoslavian partisan group, led by a man named Petrovic. The partisans have information about a Nazi plan to sabotage the Allied invasion of Italy.
After a successful drop, the two groups eventually meet up and cooperate to complete their respective missions. They face many obstacles, including Nazi soldiers and treacherous terrain. Along the way, they also discover a traitor in their midst.
In the end, both missions are successful but not without casualties. Mallory and Miller are the only two survivors of their original group, and they narrowly escape with their lives. The film ends with the two of them on a train, reflecting on the sacrifices made during the war.
