Forbidden Planet is a science fiction film released in 1956, directed by Fred M. Wilcox and featuring an all-star cast including Leslie Nielsen, Walter Pidgeon, and Anne Francis. The film centers around the crew of the Starship C57D, who travel to the distant planet of Altair 4 in search of the spaceship Bellerophon, which disappeared twenty years earlier.
