For the Sake of Vicious is a 2020 Canadian horror film directed by Gabriel Carrer and Reese Eveneshen. The film stars Lora Burke as Romina, an overworked nurse who returns home after a long night shift to find a man named Chris (Nick Smyth) hiding out in her living room with a woman named Alanza (Colin Paradine) who he has beaten and taken hostage.
Romina tries to intervene and help Alanza, but Chris is aggressive and does not want her involved. However, soon after, a group of masked intruders break into Romina's home and start attacking the trio. The rest of the film revolves around the three characters trying to fend off the attackers and survive the night.
As the night progresses, Romina discovers that the attackers are not random, but have a personal vendetta against Chris. The three characters must work together to discover the identity of the attackers and find a way to escape before it's too late.
