The three friends, Alex, Zoe, and Marcus, are avid backpackers and are excited about embarking on a new adventure. As they begin their journey, they notice a mysterious individual filming them from afar. At first, they brush it off as a fellow hiker recording his journey, but as the days progress, the individual becomes more intrusive.
The trio starts to notice the stranger popping up in unusual places, and they become increasingly unnerved. Despite their concerns, they push forward on their journey, convincing themselves that it's all in their heads.
As their trip draws to a close, they find themselves face to face with the stalker. The stranger is a deranged filmmaker who has been tracking their every move for his latest project. The friends must fight for their survival as they attempt to outsmart the filmmaker and escape his twisted intentions.
Follower is a psychological thriller that explores the darker side of human nature and the perils of social media and surveillance culture.
