FM is a 1978 comedy-drama film that follows the story of Q-SKY, a successful radio station in Los Angeles that is run by its eccentric employees. The station's program director, Jeff Dugan (played by Michael Brandon), is the driving force behind Q-SKY's success, as he believes in playing the music he loves and not pandering to corporate interests or commercial success.
However, when a large media corporation acquires Q-SKY, Jeff and his team find themselves at odds with the new management's desire to make the station more profitable through increased advertising and sponsorships.
