Flight of the Phoenix is a 2004 action-thriller film directed by John Moore and starring Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, and Hugh Laurie. The story follows a group of oil workers, led by pilot Frank Towns (Quaid), who crashes their plane in the Gobi Desert on their way home from Mongolia.
